It is noted that 17 hockey players of the club have positive results of PCR testing for coronavirus. Most of them are asymptomatic.

Therefore, the KHL decided not to hold Avtomobilist's away matches against Avangard and Dynamo Riga, which were scheduled for January 5 and 7, respectively.

Avtomobilist's match with Jokerit was canceled due to quarantine for the Russians. Hockey Whether these matches will be played later has not yet been decided.

Earlier, for the same reason, the match between Avtomobilist and Jokerit, which was supposed to take place on January 3, was canceled.

Avtomobilist ranks tenth in the Eastern Conference standings, gaining 40 points in 44 matches.

In early November, due to the outbreak of flu and the quarantine of the players of Salavat Yulaev, the match of the Ufa club against Traktor was canceled. Later, "Salavat Yulaev" was awarded a technical defeat. The KHL then noted that it was impossible to postpone the match due to the tight calendar.
