Bolshunov took second place in the overall Tour de Ski standings

Russian skier Alexander Bolshunov took seventh place in the freestyle mass start at the final stage of the Tour de Ski in Val di Fiemme (Italy). This was enough for him to become the second in the overall standings.

Bolshunov covered the distance of 10 km in 32 minutes 20.2 seconds. He lost 38.1 seconds to the winner of the Norwegian Shur Rete. The second place was taken by the Russian Denis Spitsov (+2.4), the third - by the German Friedrich Moh (+18.9). In the overall standings, the best was the Norwegian Johannes Klebo, who became fifth on Tuesday (+34.9).

Among Russian men, Alexander Legkov (2013), Sergei Ustyugov (2017) and Bolshunov (2020, 2021) won in the overall standings of the stage race.
