FC Shakhtar signed a contract with Colombian midfielder Roger Cañas, the Pitmen's press service reports.

Kanyas played for Shakhtar Karaganda in 2012 and 2013, played 51 matches and scored seven goals.

Roger began his career at Colombian side Independiente Medellin. Also in the track record of the player are such teams as the Latvian "Transit", the Russian "Siberia", the Polish "Jagellonia", the Cypriot APOEL, the Kazakhstani "Astana", "Ordabasy" and "Irtysh".

Recall that Shakhtar are preparing for the new season in Turkey, where on January 31 they plan to play a friendly match with the Bulgarian CSKA (Sofia).
