Robert Lewandowski named FIFA World Player of the Year 2021

Robert Lewandowski has been recognized as the best player of 2021 according to the International Football Federation (FIFA), bbabo.net reports.

During the season, the Bayern and Poland striker scored 69 goals - 43 goals in the Bundesliga, 11 in the Champions League, two in the German Super Cup, two in the Club World Cup, and 11 in the national team.

The top three also included Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) and Lionel Messi (Paris Saint-Germain).
