WBO postpones bidding for Alimkhanuly's fight with world champion

Bidding for the fight for the WBO middleweight title between American Demetrius Andrade (31-0, 19 KOs) and Zhanibek Alimkhanuly (11-0, 7 KOs) from Kazakhstan has been postponed for a week, reports bbabo.net.

According to the portal, both sides of the confrontation requested additional time to prepare for the auction, which was to be held on January 14 (in Kazakhstan it will be January 15) at the WBO headquarters in San Juan (Puerto Rico).

We add that Andrade's team is working on a parallel version of the fight for the vacant WBO super middleweight title with the Englishman Zach Parker, but the World Organization believes that the representatives of the American were delayed in providing a specific proposal.
