The tragedy took place on November 17. As a result of the explosion of a gas cylinder, a fire broke out in a barrack-type house. At that moment, there were two families in one of the apartments. The hosts, the Zharkynbek family, received guests, the Suraukhan family with children. In the family of the owners, only the head of the family, Nuranbai Zharkynbek, survived, he received 30 percent burns, and the son of Ali, he is a little over a year old. At the site of the fire, Altyngul's wife Huang and their three-year-old daughter Ayaru died. Two more children from this family died in the hospital a few days later. Four children survived from the Sarauhan family, but they lost both parents. Their mother, 33-year-old Barshagul Rakhat, died on the spot. And his father, Serikzhan Suraukhan, received 90% burns, he died later in the hospital.
"Four children were left orphans. We plan to buy them an apartment in the city of Nur-Sultan. I think this will be an important help in their lives. This money, of course, is not enough.
