Russia (bbabo.net), - In Yakutia, the investigation of the criminal case of a resident of the Oymyakonsky district has been completed. The woman is accused of murdering her own mother, committed with particular cruelty. This was reported by the press service of the republic's prosecutor's office.

The tragedy broke out in March last year in the village of Tomtor. According to the investigation, the accused, being drunk, demanded money from her mother to buy alcohol, but she refused. Then the woman locked the relative in the bathhouse, and then poured gasoline on the door and the porch and set it on fire.

The victim died from the received injuries. Her daughter was detained and taken into custody.

"After the approval of the indictment, the criminal case was sent to the Supreme Court of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) for consideration on the merits," the supervisory authority added.
