Russia (bbabo.net), - The Soviet Interdistrict Investigation Department of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Stavropol Territory opened a criminal case on the fact of violation of labor protection requirements, which inadvertently resulted in the death of workers (part 3 of Art. 143 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) in the city of Zelenokumsk. According to the investigators, on January 4, a steam installation at the Silikat enterprise of Masiks-Don LLC went out of order, as a result of which two workers died. The leadership of the regional SU, as well as the investigators of the apparatus, went to the scene.

Governor Vladimir Vladimirov wrote on his Instagram page that at the enterprise "during the execution of production work there was a depressurization of a pressurized container with hot water." At the same time, the head of the region emphasized: there are no threats to the residents of the city after the emergency, and the situation in the area of the accident is under the control of the authorities and emergency services.
A check in connection with the incident is now carried out at the scene of the tragedy in Zelenokumsk and the prosecutor's office of the Sovetsky district.
