Russia (bbabo.net) - In the Trans-Baikal Territory, a criminal case was opened after the death of two children due to a fire. It is being investigated under the article on causing death by negligence.

The tragedy occurred on the evening of February 6 in the city of Petrovsk-Zabaikalsky. A bathhouse broke out on Butin Street. At the time of the fire, there were three people in it - a 33-year-old man and two children, four and seven years old. They got out on the street on their own.

According to the regional head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the victims received burns of the head, hands and body of varying severity and were taken to the hospital. However, both children died the next day.

"The investigators, together with specialists, will conduct an additional inspection of the scene, during which they will seize objects and samples of substances for which a fire-technical examination will be scheduled to establish the source and cause of the fire, and will also interrogate eyewitnesses," the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee on Transbaikal region.
