Coin exchange terminals appeared in Pyaterochka

The Pyaterochka retail chain, together with the Mint Company, launched a pilot project to collect coins in 10 stores in Moscow and Krasnodar. At the terminals, customers can hand over the accumulated change, in return receive a certificate for this amount for purchases at Pyaterochka.

To exchange coins, you must use a special terminal in the entrance group of stores that participate in the project. The terminal will calculate the amount of coins deposited and print a certificate with a QR code that can be used at any Pyaterochka.

The minimum exchange rate at the terminal is 1 ruble, and the maximum is 14,500 rubles. If the deposit amount is in kopecks, rounding will occur down to the ruble. The certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of receipt and can be used to pay up to 100% of the purchase amount.

“According to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, a total of 116.9 billion rubles have been minted to date. in a coin, and this is about 69.9 billion pieces of coins. Many guests prefer non-cash payment methods and use banknotes less and less, and coins generally remain in their wallets. In this regard, we decided to help change the accumulated trifle and spend these funds in a form convenient for ourselves on the necessary goods, ”said Mikhail Yartsev, Marketing Director of the Pyaterochka retail chain.

It should be noted that the certificate cannot be used to pay for alcohol and tobacco products. Also, you do not need to scan the Help-Card at the checkout, otherwise the certificate will not be able to be used. Prices for goods that participate in the "Rescue Card" promotion will not be valid.
