Russia (bbabo.net), - A high-profile criminal case on the theft of 2.4 billion rubles from 1.4 thousand equity holders of the Milovsky Park residential complex ended with a harsh sentence. The Oktyabrsky District Court of Ufa appointed three defendants, who in different years led KilStroyInvest LLC, real terms of imprisonment. This was reported in the prosecutor's office of Bashkiria.

The company "KilStroyInvest" began to build a low-rise residential complex "Milovsky Park" near Ufa in 2012, literally in an open field. The deadlines for the delivery of houses were frustrated one after another: as a result, out of 14 planned quarters, only two were handed over. More than 1,200 citizens and 205 members of housing cooperatives became defrauded equity holders, many of them took loans to buy apartments. The leaders of KilStroyInvest came under investigation under articles of fraud and causing property damage by deceit.

- The court sentenced Dmitry Komlev to 10 years in prison, and his colleagues Ivan Arapov and Pavel Rytsev to six years in prison in a penal colony. The verdict has not entered into force, - specified in the prosecutor's office of the Republic of Belarus.

According to the regional Investigative Committee, the property of the accused and their relatives was seized. The approximate total value of this property is more than 400 million rubles.

Meanwhile, the deceived equity holders of Milovsky Park were taken under the wing of the Fund for the Protection of the Rights of Shared Construction Participants: the equity holders received compensation for two objects, and out of the 20 houses that were decided to be completed, three were handed over at the end of 2021. The rest are expected to be completed by 2024.
