Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: first impressions, pricing and release date from a Verizon employee

A Reddit user who claims to be a Verizon sales rep who owns the new Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone has posted first impressions of the smartphone as well as pricing.

A Verizon employee says the Galaxy S22 Ultra looks more like the Note 20 Ultra than the successor to the S21 Ultra. The phone is easy to control, but it is slightly wider than its predecessor. The display is only slightly curved and there is no charger in the box, as expected. However, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will support Samsung's 45W fast charger.

The source does not know exactly what colors Verizon will get for the Galaxy S22 Ultra as they were only given the black model. Leaks indicate that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available in black, white, burgundy, and green.

The smartphone received a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, the phone has a new function for automatically dimming the display in quick settings. Recall, earlier it was reported that the screen will have a record peak brightness of 1750 cd / m2.

Galaxy S22 Ultra pricing on Verizon network:
