New Windows 11 features: Microsoft adds more options to Task Manager

Leakage of information about new features of the Windows 11 operating system continues. A couple of days ago we learned about a new feature called "stickers" and tablet mode. In addition, there is information related to improvements to the taskbar, as well as a new tooltip in the settings for those who work on unsupported PCs.

Now it has become known about the upcoming changes related to the task manager. A Twitter user and a FireCube insider noticed in the recent Dev Channel Build 22543 that Microsoft is adding more options to the Task Manager.

The Task Manager home page has new sections dedicated to showing "Application Status" and "Battery Status". Additional parameters related to the applications that are launched can also be added. However, it appears that these design choices are not final and are subject to change based on comments from Microsoft developers.

This is not the only recent Task Manager related leak. Evidence was also found earlier in Build 22538 showing that Microsoft is working on a new, redesigned Task Manager for Windows 11.
