“Roskomnadzor, despite the fulfillment within a day of the requirements to lift restrictions from the official page of the Russian delegation at the talks in Vienna on military security and arms control, notes that the administration of the American social network Facebook has not provided an official explanation of the reasons for the introduction of restrictions,” they said. in the press office.

Earlier, the head of the Russian delegation at the talks in Vienna on military security and arms control, Konstantin Gavrilov, said that Facebook, after three days of blocking, restored access to the page of the Russian delegation. According to him, the unblocking "was helped by the support of the Russian Foreign Ministry, which turned to Facebook with a demand to explain the reasons for the blocking, as well as a powerful artillery salvo from Roskomnadzor."

Alexei Chepa, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, called the decision of the social network to block "one hundred percent censorship."

In turn, Anton Gorelkin, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications, allowed the application of sanctions against Facebook.
