Russia - Two stores in St. Petersburg will be fined for not checking QR codes of visitors

Russia (bbabo.net) - In St. Petersburg, in the course of raids to comply with restrictive measures, two non-food stores were identified, where the visitors did not check QR codes about vaccinations or past illness, the press service of Smolny reports.

Employees of the Property Control Committee of St. Petersburg checked 75 stores and 24 cafes located in the Admiralteysky, Central, Primorsky districts and on the Vyborgskaya side. Violations were found at seven locations.

Moreover, only two of them dealt with checking the codes of the visitors. The rest of the shops and cafes caught in violations had employees without vaccinations, some did not wear masks. It turned out that not everywhere entrepreneurs keep thermometry and disinfection journals; there were also sales areas where no markings were applied, allowing visitors to maintain a social distance.

Smolny says that the overwhelming majority of enterprises comply with all the required antiquated measures. Administrative protocols will be drawn up for violators, they will be fined.

Recall that the requirement that when visiting catering and shops you need to present documents confirming the fact of vaccination, vaccination or negative PCR test, began to operate in St. Petersburg on January 2. Among cafes, an exception was made for outlets located at enterprises and at train stations. For shops, this rule does not apply in grocery outlets, pharmacies, codes are not needed at gas stations, in kiosks and in retail outlets where essential goods are sold.
