Caucasian train appeared in the Moscow metro

Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - The fleet of themed trains of the Moscow metro has been replenished with a new copy inviting passengers to visit the republics of the North Caucasus.

The PosetiKavkaz train began to run along the blue Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line - one of the oldest in the capital's subway and the longest - on New Year's Eve, the KAVKAZ.RF press service reported.

The front of the carriages is decorated with images of nature and residents of the North Caucasus Federal District and the slogan "A great journey across the North Caucasus." Inside, there are posters telling passengers about the main attractions of Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia, the Chechen Republic and Stavropol Territory.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic announced by WHO, which pushed most countries to restrict air traffic, domestic tourism has begun to actively develop in Russia. The North Caucasus is currently one of the most popular destinations. Local residents make their guests feel welcome. And in Dagestan there has even appeared a "booth of goodness", where guests are treated to national dishes for free.
