Psaki did not see any contradictions in the statements of Kiev and Washington on Ukraine

The White House administration sees no contradictions in the statements of officials in Washington and Kiev on the situation around Ukraine. This was stated by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, TASS reports.

Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Oleksiy Reznikov, said that he did not see "momentary" military threats from Russia. According to him, "sooner or later" the alleged invasion of Ukraine may happen, but there is no "momentary risk." He also said that the likelihood of an escalation around the country could be assessed as low.

At the same time, US national security adviser Jake Sullivan believes that Russia could invade at any moment and try to “annex Donbass.”

At the same time, US Deputy Treasury Secretary Adewale Adeyemo said that the US authorities are taking steps to prepare for a crisis that could happen due to a possible influx of refugees from Ukraine to other countries.
