Engineering, tank units and anti-tank artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine took part in a complex exercise that took place in the Kherson region, not far from the Crimea. This was reported by the portal "Korrespondent.net".

Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Serhiy Nayev, stressed that the main combat mission was to quickly move the anti-tank reserve to the place of combat deployment, and the engineering and sapper group set up minefields.

“This time the tankers were alerted. After receiving a combat order, they quickly marched to the waiting area with the subsequent exit to the firing lines, ”Naev said.

He stressed that the exercises are planned to be held in the future.

Earlier, the armed forces of Ukraine pulled UR-77 self-propelled guns into the Donbass to carry out an offensive against the positions of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

The installations, which the military nicknamed "Gorynychi", are used to clear minefields and prepare corridors for the passage of armored vehicles through them.
