In Ukraine, they doubted a full-scale war with Russia

Russia does not have enough troops near Ukraine's borders to launch a full-scale attack. This was stated by the former Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Zagorodnyuk in an interview with the British Guardian.

According to him, Russia can capture any Ukrainian city at any moment, but has not yet sent 200,000 troops to the border, which are necessary for this purpose.

Zahorodnyuk noted that the situation around Ukraine is really difficult, but he does not believe in the inevitability of the Russian "invasion".

Earlier, American media reported that the White House was dissatisfied with the position of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the threat of Russia's "invasion". According to sources, the Ukrainian head accuses the United States of only sowing panic in the country, pointing to the increased “Russian threat”. US President Joe Biden, in turn, is annoyed by "downplaying the threat." At the same time, Kiev continues to ask for military assistance from the United States and NATO.

Since the autumn of last year, the Western media, as well as in Ukraine, have been claiming that Russia is allegedly preparing a “large-scale invasion” of Ukraine. In Moscow, such allegations have been repeatedly rejected.
