As long as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is unable to rebuff Russia, the function of the head of state is performed by the collective West. This was stated by Lviv journalist Ostap Drozdov on his YouTube channel.

He expressed the opinion that this is the best scenario for Ukraine in the current situation. According to Drozdov, if Zelensky had realized his plans, the country would have capitulated long ago.

“I would have gone to direct negotiations with Putin, I would have talked to him about something that we will not know about,” Drozdov said.

Since the autumn of last year, the Western media, as well as in Ukraine, have been claiming that Russia is allegedly preparing a “large-scale invasion” of Ukraine. In Moscow, such allegations have been repeatedly rejected.

Earlier it was reported that about half of the inhabitants of Ukraine were in favor of holding early elections of the head of state.
