Russia - Novosibirsk philologists analyzed the texts of messages about mining

Russia (bbabo.net), - Philologists from the Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU) have analyzed the texts of mass mailings with false reports about the mining of schools and other educational institutions. As noted in the press service of the university, experts called the authors of e-mails illiterate people who send threatening letters for the sake of entertainment.

According to the head of the Department of Philology of the NSTU, Doctor of Philology Galina Mandrikova, the authors of such messages actively use non-literary, invective vocabulary. There are a lot of colloquial words, colloquial expressions, jargon in the texts. At the same time, they are combined with attempts to give credibility to the letter through the inept use of official business style.

- These texts are written by people who do not imitate a poorly educated person, but they are, - Galina Mandrikova is sure. - The absence of the necessary punctuation marks indicates weak logical-cognitive connections. This happens with teenagers or with people obsessed with their psychological problems.

Experts also note numerous borrowings from works of pop culture: detective series, comics, computer games. "In general, one gets the impression that the goal of the authors is to have fun by playing on such an important topic as the safety of people, especially children," Galina Mandrikova believes.

In their threats, the authors of false letters also use the motives of "revenge" against the world, society, the state and individuals, which are popular among juvenile delinquents and "movie maniacs". At the same time, they try to rise at any cost, striving for self-presentation and discrediting other people. In addition, there is a certainty that they will go unpunished.
