Moldova - Grosu and Reidman argued in parliament about ways to save gas

Moldova (bbabo.net), - The reduction of gas consumption in order to save money was the reason for the exchange of remarks at the plenary session of the legislative assembly. While Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilitsa asked MPs to vote in favor of declaring a state of emergency due to the situation created in the energy sector, MP Oleg Reidman said that you need to know physics to regulate temperature, reports agora.md

“You just need to know physics. It takes more gas to heat than to maintain the temperature. So be careful with gas shutdowns over the weekend,” Reidman said.

The answer of the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly was not long in coming.

“Mr. Deputy, you have a radiator in your office, there is a tap there, it has nothing to do with the boiler. This is what I do in my office, this is physics,” Grosu replied.

It should be noted that Moldovagaz received a letter from the Russian concern Gazprom with a message about the possibility of stopping natural gas supplies to the Republic of Moldova in case of non-payment of full gas consumption by January 20.

In connection with the current situation in Moldova, a state of emergency was introduced in the energy sector for a period of 60 days.
