The newly appointed head of the Audiovisual Council, Liliana Vicu-Esanu, declared an annual salary of 27.7 million lei in 2020, working at the Swiss Cooperation Office. This means that she received 2 million lei or 100 thousand euros every month.

It can be seen from the income statement that Vicu-Esanu received a fee from the Thomson Reuters Foundation in the amount of 114 thousand lei and 8576 lei from the Independent Journalism Center. Together with the income of her husband, Mircea Esanu, who was appointed director of the Public Services Agency by the PAS government, the family received over 28 million lei in 2020.

Vicu-Esanu owns a land plot valued at 48 thousand lei and an apartment of almost 100 sq. m. m., bought for 33 thousand euros. The Eşanu family owns a Volvo car for 19,000 euros.
