Moldova (bbabo.net), - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu sent congratulations to the diplomats on the occasion of their professional holiday on Monday.

The message reads: “Dear diplomats! Thirty years ago, on January 17, 1992, the Republic of Moldova took one of its first diplomatic steps - it applied to join the UN.”

“On the occasion of the professional day, I congratulate the employees of the diplomatic service and wish them courage, devotion and perseverance in promoting the interests of our country in the world,” the speaker said.

Igor Grosu emphasized that an effective and skillful foreign policy is needed for the openness of our country to the outside world.

“I am firmly convinced that active diplomacy is a key component for the establishment of the Republic of Moldova on the international arena, benefiting our citizens,” the President of Parliament concluded.
