House number 18 in Filippovsky Lane was built in 1905. The building is a valuable city-forming object, made in the Art Nouveau style. It has five floors and five entrances. In 1930, a superstructure was made on the building.

The house has not been renovated for a long time, which is why its appearance and interior left much to be desired. “During the work, the facade was cleared, all the decorative elements were put in order, the seams were sealed, and the historical color of the building was restored,” the agency reports. “Iron doors in the entrances were replaced with wooden ones, similar in appearance to those that were originally. the railings and all the chips on the steps of the stairs were restored with two-component mixtures. All low-voltage wires, if possible, were removed into decorative boxes."

The engineering of the house was repaired: the systems of water disposal, heat supply, as well as cold water supply were completely updated. The work was carried out without the resettlement of residents.
