The son-in-law of the first president of Kazakhstan, Timur Kulibayev, resigned as chairman of the presidium of the Kazakh National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken". His statement was published by the press service of the chamber.

"From today, I decided to resign as the elected chairman of the presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken". I want to thank the delegates of the congress and members of the presidium for the trust placed in me. It was a great honor and responsibility for me to head the supreme supervisory body of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs for eight years ", - said Kulibaev. According to him, a lot has been achieved over the years, a constructive dialogue between business and government has been established, and a favorable business climate has been created.

As stated in the board of the National Chamber, they respect the decision of Kulibayev. "Timur Kulibayev stood at the origins of the creation of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs and made a great contribution to the formation of the chamber as a constructive dialogue platform for business and government," the board noted.

At the next meeting of the presidium, its members will determine the candidacy of the acting chairman.

It is noteworthy that earlier, another son-in-law of Nazarbayev (husband of his youngest daughter) Dimash Dosanov and Kairat Sharipbayev, who is in a relationship with the eldest daughter of the first president of Kazakhstan, left senior positions in large companies.
