Several police officers injured during protests near the Bulgarian Parliament

At least four police officers were injured during a protest against the introduction of "green certificates", which took place in the capital of Bulgaria near the parliament building. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic, an attempt to enter the building of the National Assembly was prevented, as a result of which four law enforcement officers were injured.

The police urged the protesters to express their opinions peacefully, without violating public order.

As previously reported by the TASS agency, several thousand people took part in the demonstration. The protesters opposed the "green certificates", demanding a return to a normal lifestyle. According to them, the use of such passports turns vaccination from voluntary to compulsory.

It is noteworthy that the action was organized against the backdrop of a sharp increase in the number of people infected with coronavirus.
