The Ministry of Construction of the region reported that the facility is working on glazing facades, installing a seam roof in the main arena and a universal training hall, installing heating, smoke removal, ventilation, partitions, and also began pouring floors.

At the end of December last year, a small training arena was connected to the heat, and now preparatory work for the interior decoration of the premises has begun here. The next stage - the launch of heat in the universal training hall - is scheduled to be completed by the end of January. Then the next step is to supply heating to the building of the main arena.

The implementation of the ice arena construction project is under the control of the regional authorities, and they plan to build not only a six-story complex, but also the arrangement of access roads, the opening of the Sportivnaya metro station, the construction of a surface drainage system from the territory and a pedestrian crossing over the Oktyabrsky Bridge dam, the dam of the Oktyabrsky bridge and the road from Lyschinsky square to the Nautilus beach, landscaping of the adjacent territory.

The construction of the arena is carried out within the framework of the federal project "Sport is the norm of life" of the national project "Demography". It will host the 2023 World Youth Hockey Championship matches. The area of ​​the complex will be 55 thousand square meters, the main arena will be able to accommodate 10.5 thousand spectators.
