Saudi Arabia to open kindergartens that did not work due to coronavirus for almost 2 years

In Saudi Arabia, due to the coronavirus pandemic, neither kindergartens nor primary schools have worked for almost 2 years, and after a long hiatus, the country's children's educational institutions will reopen on January 23.

Saudi Arabia's ministries of education and health announced that the successful return of middle and high school students to the classroom allows them to move on to the next stage - the return to work of kindergartens and elementary schools.

Only students who cannot attend school "for health reasons" will remain on distance learning - which in the kingdom means the absence of vaccinations against coronavirus. As you know, in Saudi Arabia, most children over the age of 5 have already been vaccinated. Children with a medical disqualification or refusal to vaccinate will not be able to attend schools and kindergartens in person, they will be able to attend classes only remotely.

The Ministry of Education has made vaccination mandatory for full-time attendance of students not only in schools, but also in universities, as well as in institutions of additional education and vocational training.
