Russia (bbabo.net), - The United Far Eastern Airlines resumes flights from Ulan-Ude to the village of Khuzhir, which is located on Olkhon Island, the press service of the air carrier reported.

"From February 18, 2022, Aurora Airlines, together with its operating partner Siberian Light Aviation, will begin operating regular flights on the Ulan-Ude - Khuzhir (Olkhon Island) route," the report says.

From February 18 to March 25, two flights a week are scheduled (on Fridays and Sundays), and from March 2, a third one will be added (on Wednesdays). Travel time by plane L-410 will be 40 minutes. The cost of an air ticket is 1035 rubles one way.

Olkhon is the largest island of Baikal, Khuzhir is the largest settlement of Olkhon. The resumption of the air route opens up the possibility of organizing tourist trips to the lake.
