- When booking for the summer of 2022, the resorts on the Baltic Sea are ahead of the resorts on the Black and Azov Seas, - analysts of the service noted. - Compared to 2021, the demand for recreation in the Kaliningrad region increased by 233 percent, while in the Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory - only by 13 percent. From here you can see a trend in changing the geography of travel this year: people are opening new vacation spots in Russia.

At the same time, the resorts of the Crimea and Kuban are the most popular for family holidays in the summer - 43 percent of summer bookings in these regions are for family tourists. At the same time, 26 percent of mothers with children prefer to rest in Anapa, Sochi, Gelendzhik. In the Kaliningrad region, 33 percent of Russian families and couples plan to spend their summer holidays this year.

He notes the service and another obvious trend: from rest in the private sector, Russian tourists are gradually switching to hotels. This is another trend of the 2022 season. 74 percent of the hotel rooms in the Krasnodar Territory and 62 percent in the Crimea have already been booked for the upcoming season. However, 78 percent of travelers book apartments for the summer in the Kaliningrad region and 22 percent rent houses.

Recall that at the end of 2021, the Republic of Crimea was visited by 9.5 million tourists, and the Krasnodar Territory received about 16.5 million tourists.
