The Eastern Committee of the German Economy confirmed the holding of a traditional meeting of German business representatives with Russian President Vladimir Putin, TASS reports.

As the press service of the organization specified, the meeting of the Russian leader with German entrepreneurs will be held online. It is noted that the details of the negotiations have not yet been determined, and the companies participating in the meeting are also not named.

Earlier, the US agency Bloomberg reported that the online meeting was scheduled for March 3.

The day before, on January 26, Vladimir Putin held a meeting with representatives of Italian business, during which he said that the two countries managed to maintain a high level of economic cooperation. The head of state also spoke about the successful work of the Russian-Italian investment platform for financing major joint projects.
