Actor Leonard Fenton dies at 95

Actor Leonard Fenton died on January 29 at the age of 96, Sky News reports, citing the family of the deceased.

Fenton has starred in the long-lived soap opera EastEnders since 1985, with his last episode airing in 2019. In 267 episodes of the show, Fenton played Dr. Legg, a close friend of Dot Cotton (actress June Brown), who suffered from hypochondria and complained to him of endless illnesses.

During his 60 years of acting career, Fenton has played many roles at the National Theater and the Royal Shakespeare Academy. According to relatives, Fenton's life was supported by the love of drawing and singing, which appeared before the love of acting.
